2019 Newton-Jasper Lincoln Day Dinner

Tickets are still available for the Newton-Jasper Lincoln Day Dinner to be held on Saturday evening of March 30, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church on 50th St in Joplin (same location as last year). Doors will open at 5pm, dinner and buffet catered by the Butcher's Block will begin at 6pm
Tickets will remain the same price as 2018 at $42.50/ticket.
Governor Mike Parson, Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe, State Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick, MO Speaker of the House Elijah Haahr, Sec of State Jay Ashcroft and US Senator Roy Blunt are all confirmed as attending.

2018 Annual Free Bean Feed

2018 Annual Free Bean Feed Featuring U.S. Senator Roy Blunt

NEOHSO, MO (October 31, 2018) The Annual Free Bean Feed, hosted by the Newton County Republican Central Committee, will be held Saturday, November 3rd at the Neosho Middle School Cafeteria 1400 Hale-McGinty Drive, Neosho, MO 64850. Doors open at 5:30PM and the buffet line will start at 5:45PM. 

A featured speaker is United States Senator Roy Blunt.  U.S. Congressman Billy Long, our State Auditor Candidate Saundra McDowell and Missouri State Senator Ron Richard will also be featured speakers.  There will also be informative presentations on all the ballot issues and judge retention on the November 6th ballot, Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe will present “Vote No on 1”.  Candidates Judge Kevin Selby and Ben Baker for State Representative will be attending. U.S. Senate candidate Josh Hawley has been invited as a guest speaker.  More speakers may be added.

Catering will be provided by the Neosho High School Future Farmers of America (FFA).  The menu will include Ham and Beans, Cornbread, Cake, and Iced Tea.  Ice-cream made in Newton County by All Aboard Ice Cream Co. will be provided—free of charge (ice cream courtesy of Committee to Elect Ron Richard).

A unique, first-in-series, Canvas Giclee donated by renowned Artist Doug Hall will be live auctioned. The Republican Women of Newton County (RWNC) will be hosting a silent auction at the Bean Feed.  If you are interested in donating items for the Silent Auction, please contact RWNC President Cheryle Perkins at 417-389-7788. You can also help by bringing your checkbook and bidding. 

We invite all our Republican friends from across Southwest Missouri.  Bring your friends and neighbors and please pass along this information to anyone that may be interested in attending. 

To ensure enough seating and food for the event, a head count will need to be provided to our caterers, the Neosho High School FFA. 2018 Annual Free Watermelon Feed

 

Governor Mike Parson will speak at the Annual Free Watermelon Freed at Neosho’s Big Spring Park.

NEOSHO, MO (July 26, 2018)—The Annual Free Watermelon Feed, co-hosted by the Republican Women of Newton County and the Newton County Republican Central Committee, will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. at Big Spring Park, 308 West Spring St., Neosho, MO 64850. 

The Free Watermelon Feed is open to all Republicans. Ice cold watermelon, bottled water, and ice-cream made in Newton County by All Aboard Ice Cream Co. will be provided—free of charge (ice cream courtesy of Committee to Elect Ron Richard).    All you need to bring is your lawn chairs, appetite, and friends & neighbors.

Governor Mike Parson has been added as a featured speaker to the Annual Watermelon Feed program.  Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe will speak on “Yes” for Proposition A.  The Missouri Republican Party endorsed “Yes” on Proposition A by unanimous voice vote at the State Committee meeting on Saturday June 23, 2018.  “Yes” on Proposition A supports Senate Bill 19 (“Right-to-Work”) as passed by the general assembly in 2017.  Senator Ron Richard will give remarks on recent activities of the General Assembly and introduce Lt. Governor Kehoe.  

Candidates for contested offices appearing on the August 7, 2018 Republican Primary election for the following offices have been invited to attend and participate in the event: U.S. Senate; Missouri State Auditor; State Senator District 32; State Representative Districts 159, 160, and 162; Associate Circuit Judge Division II; and County Clerk.   All Missouri State Auditor candidates have confirmed their attendance:  David Wasinger, CPA, Kevin Roach, Rep. Paul Curtman, and Saundra McDowell.  All General Assembly, Judge and County Clerk candidates have also confirmed their attendance. 

During the program, candidates will address the attendees for 3 minutes each; subject to timekeeper Judge Greg Stremel.  Candidates will speak in the order they appear on the ballot.

A straw quiz will be available to those in attendance.  The straw quiz will serve as entry into a drawing for prizes.  Featured prizes include “Make America Great Again” shirts,12 gauge & .22 ammunition, Trump Paper Dolls, and a picnic basket.   The drawing will take place at the conclusion of the Free Watermelon Feed. 

In case of rain, the Free Watermelon Feed will be moved to the Lampo Building, 500 E Spring Street, Neosho, MO 64850 at 6:30 P.M.

2018 Newton County Republican Candidate Fair

The 2018 Newton County Republican Candidate Fair, hosted by the Newton County Republican Central Committee (NCRCC), will be held Tuesday, May 22nd at the Lampo Building, 500 E. Spring Street, Neosho, MO 64850. Doors will open at 5:30PM. The program begins at 6PM.

Candidates for contested offices appearing on the August 7, 2018 Republican Primary election for the following offices have been invited to attend and participate in the event: State Senator District 32; State Representative Districts 159, 160, and 162; Associate Circuit Judge Division II; and County Clerk. 

Each contested candidate will be able to have their own table for campaign materials and meeting voters. During the program, candidates will address the attendees for 3 minutes each; subject to timekeeper. Candidates will speak in the order they appear on the ballot.

Annual Free Bean Feed Friday, Nov. 10th 5:00pm-Neosho Middle School

 

ANNUAL FREE BEAN FEED- In recognition of the start of deer hunting season on November 11th, the silent auction will feature many hunting related items including a 30-06 Remington bolt action rifle, deer processing by Good Man Meat, and Make America Great Again camo-hats. 

The Annual Free Bean Feed, hosted by the Newton County Republican Central Committee, will be held Friday, November 10th at the Neosho Middle School Cafeteria 1400 Hale-McGinty Drive, Neosho, MO 64850. Doors open at 5:00PM and the buffet line will start at 5:30PM.  

The featured speaker is Missouri State Auditor candidate David Wasinger, CPA.  Republican US Senate candidates seeking the nomination to challenge Democrat US Senator Claire McCaskill have been invited to attend the Bean Feed and speak for five minutes, subject to time keeper Judge Greg Stremel. Confirmed US Senate candidates attending are Tony Monetti, Courtland Sykes, and Austin Petersen.  More speakers may be added. 

Catering will be provided by the Neosho High School Future Farmers of America (FFA).  The menu will include Ham and Beans, Cornbread, Cake, and Iced Tea. The Neosho High School Air Force Jr. ROTC will be presenting the Colors. 

The Republican Women of Newton County (RWNC) will be hosting a silent auction at the Bean Feed.  In recognition of the start of deer hunting season on November 11th , the silent auction will feature many hunting related items including a 30-06 Remington bolt action rifle, deer processing by Good Man Meat, and Make America Great Again camo-hats.   For auction, Senator Ron Richard has donated a shadow box with a piece of the Berlin wall and a US Flag flown over the Capitol in Washington D.C. on President Trump’s inauguration day (both items have certificates of authenticity).  If you are interested in donating items for the Silent Auction, please contact RWNC President Cheryle Perkins at 417-389-7788. You can also help by bringing your checkbook and bidding.
